I wish I could give this zero stars. Aside from containing some errors, it is full of activities that will dull your child's mind. Just a couple of examples:
* The "art" section (sounds cool, eh?) contains pre-drawn pictures that you can scribble on with a pencil, or fill in regions with a paint bucket. Nothing else. This is a waste of money for anyone who already has Microsoft Paint, and does nothing to advance your child's knowledge of or appreciation for art, or ability to draw, ... Read More

I bought this for my 3 year old grandson. He just loves it and asks to play it every time he comes over. He can run this program all by himself. He is learning so much from this including recoginizing patterns,colors,and story sequencing. I love it because it gives me a brief rest in our busy day together. I strongly recommend all the jump start software.

...but his game constantly stops in the middle of an application. we have several other computer games that work very well, but this one just chooses to be fussy. there are no scratches, so i don't know what's up. maybe it's just not being supported my my laptop very well? anyway, fast shipping and no scratches ont he cd, so the buyer's not the problem! the game itself, or my computer is to blame.

These CD's have been around for years and I never bought them with our first child, but wow what a difference it made for my pre-kindergartner. He is spelling, reading, etc. And he is addicted to the PC (in a good way). Highly recommended.
