My boys, my husband included, have really enjoyed this. The 5-yr old has to play with help, but the 9 yr old can play independantly. Usually, the minute it comes on, they ALL crowd around the computer. They got to a higher level, last night...it had been particularly problematic to solve and when they managed to do so, it was as if they really were in Narnia! LOL

You get to fight all sorts of creatures. All the characters you play, including Peter, Susan, Edmund, and Lucy, can earn these cool special abilities. Peter can pick Susan and Lucy up. Susan can grab Edmund by his hands and swing him around. Susan can grab Lucy by her hand and tow her around. Edmund can also do this. The coolest ability besides healing people is, Peter and Edmund can stick their sticks or swords in the ground and create a line of fire that kills everything in their path. You also can ... The book was great. The movie was great. But the day the game was made was the day Narnia died...
In Narnia: The Lion, The Witch, And The Wardrobe, you can usually play as any one of the Pevensie children. However, when in combat, if you're being attacked by monsters, do your siblings rush to your aid? The first copy of this game I purchased did not work. One of the CD's had a defect. So I had to return it for a replacement.
The second copy of this CD installed, but would not run. I have a pretty new Nvidia GForce graphics card, but this game required Pixel Shaders which many Nvidia cards to not have. Here's a list of cards that do NOT work. http://www.nvidia.com/object/IO_13959.html
