Rating: - Resume maker - a good help
Resume Maker is a great program to guide you through the whole resume writing process from scratch. There is even an automatic submission included, that posts your resume to hundreds of job web sites. All you do is click and off it goes by itself. Having repeated access to your basic data (like address, phone, education and work history) is also a very time saving feature of this software. Export/import from and to MS Word is very essential and here possible.

I found this software to be very helpful in writing my resume and cover letter. It walks you through the entire process, and even gives you sample bullets/phrases, customized for your target job. The software does have a couple bugs though; 1. It keeps asking me to insert my Dell Picture Studio CD, for no apparent reason. 2. I recently purchased this software from Amazon, and I've been experiencing technical problems from the moment it was installed on my computer. I am using the program at work, on my brand new Dell system, and it just won't act right! The print preview function creates error messages, and when I printed my resume the software placed weired lines and boxes on my resume. I've contacted tech support, and they are unsure as to what the problem might be. They've asked me to switch printers, remove the software, ... Read More
Rating: - Disappointed by poor quality software...
I was very disappointed by this software. Sure it has some good features (that's why I gave 2 instead of 1) but the built in word processor is terrible (Nope, I was not expecting another MS Word but at least expected consistency between various features/parts of the software).
