This software plays bridge fairly well, not great. The windows programming, user-interface is definitely inferior and amateurish programming. Dialog boxes do not retain values between instantiations, thus usere must set all options every time a dialog box is brought up!!. This is particularly annoying for choosing bridge conventions to practice where user must wade through a scroll list of non-alphabetical conventions to choose the desired ones. No directions, no explanations of bidding, no teaching of bidding, no way to replay a hand--absolutely, totally frustrating. You start game 1. If you decide to look at game 2, you can but there's no getting back to game 1. And so it goes. If you want to play another hand and advance to another game, I did just to see what would happen, and at game 26 I simply gave up. No explanation of a play--just a note of each player's high-card points.

I gave this gift to my Mother for her birthday. She loves it! The images are easy to see and the game play is self explanatory. She loves it and I would recommend to anyone learning how to play bridge. It was a hit!
