Rating: - LP To CD's You'll Regret It!
All I wanted was to put my LP's on the computer. Spin Doctor comes in the same box, on the same disc with Toast but it is a stand alone program. The manual that comes with Toast tells you that if you want any information on Spin Doctor, click the help menu. The help menu is Roxi (a woman avitar) with a list of canned questions and answers. You have to surf through all the questions to find your answer. The problem is that Toast is Toast and not Spin Doctor. Spin Doctor gets the same support ... Read More
Rating: - DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT based on a WORTHLESS REBATE
I am an intelligent adult and have successfully mailed in and received hundreds of product rebates over the years, but there is no guarantee you will receive a Roxio rebate if you purchase this product! The company that processes their rebates are fraudulent and do everything they can to get away with it. I call them every month!
Unfortunately, I was originally not going to buy this program, but decided to anyway when a great price was offered in combination with the $30 rebate. Without ... Read More
Rating: - Great burning utility program for Mac users!
I have used the Toast line of CD/DVD burning software since I had my old Macintosh G3 and this version of the software is the most feature-packed yet.
I am using this product on both an older dual processor G4 running OS X 10.4.11 and on a Core 2 Duo MacBook Pro on OS X 10.5.4 and both machines have burned flawlessly. I've not had any trouble with either machine.
It is a simple to use program with lots of features; probably the best burning utility for Macintosh computers available.
Rating: - Toast 8 is old version and still great
Running on OSX 10.4.11 this old version of Toast grabbed the Lightscribe DVD recorder in my new HP Photosmart 8180 and wrote a good title image first try with DiscLabel. It also uses my old USB Aopen DUW1616/ARR with no issues.
It just works.
Rating: - ok
I wish i could "toast" my dvd movies to keep backup of them, otherwise is just ok, easy to use
